The true art of accessorizing lies, not only in choosing the items, but in knowing what to put them with, to achieve the most stunning effect.

While it may be rather obvious that you shouldn't match a pair of attention-grabbing earrings with a bright and busy blouse, what outfit is best accented with some classic drop earrings? Read on to learn some great accessory tips that are sure to make your wardrobe pop!

NECKLACES

Deep rounded necklines, or scoops, are a beautiful accent for a shorter necklace.

Providing a frame for a short, decorative chain, a locket or a pendant, a scooped neckline is a perfect match.

Have a favorite long chain and don't know what to pair it up with?

Well, the best way to wear a long chain is to couple it with a collared shirt.

Wearing your chain on the outside of your shirt creates a fabulous new look and fashion allows you to either wear it long and loose or, if you like a more layered look, you can wrap it around your neck once or twice to add some depth.

EARRINGS

Halter tops are a favorite way for many to bare some skin. To create the ultimate look of sexy innocence, veer away from tempting necklaces and leave that chest bare. Instead, draw attention to your neck and those beautiful bare shoulders with a pair of oversized, statement-making earrings.

And what looks best with a pair of classic drop earrings?

Keep it simple and sexy!

Shiny metals or sparkly danglers create a chic and glamorous look in a typically conservative top; navy is the new black and that metallics are the new neutrals. Have fun and mix it up!

Stacking and layering bracelets really enhances a simple look.  But how? Read our tips below.

1. Stick with one arm. Mix and match the bracelets on one arm. This is an already busy look, piling bracelets on both arms gets to be way too distracting. If you're going to layer on both wrists, keep one arm pretty simple with thinner bracelets or a watch.

2. Speaking of watch. Don't hesitate to stack with your timekeeper. There are so many ways you can do this: stack with similar colors (all gold or all silver) or mix and match with colors (ex. gold and white, silver and black, gold with beads etc) mix both bold and simple pieces with your watch.
3. Thin, stretchy bracelets add more with less noise.  These bracelets can add just the right amount of color and they stay put-which means you can stack as many as you'd like without them shifting up and down your arm every time you move, causing a whole lot of noise.
4. Themes. Point number four and five are going to completely contradict each other. But that's the beauty in this trend. The possibilities are endless. You can create a theme by stacking similar pieces together. This is a clean, more polished way of stacking. I like to do this at work.  For example, a theme can be all silver bangles, or all beaded bracelets.
5. Break the rules and wear things you were told to never wear together. Like a friendship bracelet and a gold watch. Or, heaven forbid- gold and silver together. Pearls and chains, mixed in with a fuchsia bangle.

Remember! Don't be afraid to experiment. Dump all your bracelets out on the floor and you will be surprised to see how many actually coordinate well together.

RINGS

Petite women with small hands should opt for narrow rings with one or more tiny gemstones. If you would like to choose a wider ring, try to find the one with a narrow stone of an oval shape. Rings with oval gems or the ones of a pear form with the tapered end pointed at the nail, make hands look thinner and more graceful.

Girls and young women are recommended to wear rings with one little precious stone. Middle-aged ladies should prefer rings with a bigger gem or a whole placer of small stones.

Avoid wearing more than one ring. If you have short and thick fingers stay away from choosing a massive wide ring as it will make your hand look bigger than it really is.

When accessorizing, remember to keep it simple, keep it chic and keep it glamorous. Metallics are the new neutrals this season, so don't be afraid of adding a little shine to your look. Also, be sure to have fun mixing and matching; velvet and lace are also back in fashion, but don't overdo it. Instead, try mixing them with other textures and experimenting. These helpful hints are some sure ins, but don't be afraid to try something new; fashion should be, above all else, FUN!
